Sample Schedule for a Toddler's Day
From toddlers through prekindergarten, we encourage your child’s social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth through several activities.
Our fun and nurturing activities include dress up, creativity blocks, art, music, class trips, guest appearances, age-appropriate computer exploration from 2-½-year-olds and up, library, science, math, and outdoor play.
We host children from the communities of Montvale, Allendale, Wyckoff, Woodcliff Lake, Saddle River, Midland Park, Ramsey, Ridgewood, Upper Saddle River, and the immediately surrounding areas.

Daily Schedule for Our Preschool Classrooms
A typical day for your child at Small World Child Development Center Inc. would

repeats itself; center closes at 6:00 pm.
- 7:00 am – breakfast and free play activities. Children are allowed to choose their activity
- 9:00 am – class begins with Circle Time. Some activities during Circle Time include calendar familiarization and songs.
Themes of the day are introduced - 9:45 am – snack time
- 10:00 am – computers, math center, science center, music, etc.
- 10:45 am – free play outside
- 11:30 am – wash and
cleanup - 11:45 am –
story time or music - 12:00 pm - lunch
- 12:30 pm – dismissal of half-day children and nap for others
- 3:00 pm – children wake gently between 12:30 pm and 3:00 pm
- 3:15 pm – snacks
- 3:30 pm – crafts, music, or group game
